BHM Renewables is a Prague based private equity firm investing in renewable energy in Europe. The main focus of BHM Renewables within renewable energy is on-shore wind and solar power. BHM Renewables is a part of BHM group, a private equity firm founded and majority owned by Tomáš Krsek.

GHR is building and developing wind farms in Finland

GHR and Winda Energy are aiming to capture a 10% share in Finnish wind power by 2025 with turbines up to 7 MW in capacity.

Amazon signs a PPA with BlackRock for wind farms developed by Winda

Wind farms developed by Winda, which now manages the construction of the projects for BlackRock, will benefit from a PPA signed with Amazon for 80% of the wind farms production. The Amazon PPA played a key role in enabling the transaction between GHR and BlackRock.

GHR sells wind farm portfolio to BlackRock

Green Horizon Renewables has completed major renewable transaction. As a majority investor, GHR sold its portfolio of wind farms with a combined capacity of 220 megawatts to the US investor BlackRock.

Established in 2011, Winda is a trusted Finnish wind farm developer with capabilities in project development, construction and operation.

In recent years, Winda Energy has expanded its geographic scope from Northern Ostrobothnia and Central Finland to the entire country. In November 2020, the company successfully built a 20 MW wind farm in Finland with market-leading turbine technology and in 2023 completed 200 MW of wind farms for BlackRock. The local team based in Helsinki is working with a network of professionals across Finland on development of new wind farms. The company currently has almost 4,500 MW of projects under development.

GHR Baltics is an investor into renewable energy in the Baltic region.

The company is cooperating with local partners on development of wind farm projects in Latvia with the expected capacity of more than 300 MW and further has a pipeline of projects in wind and solar energy in the region.

BHM Renewables is a developer and investor in solar and wind energy, hydrogen and storage throughout Central, Eastern and Southern Europe.

The company is actively working with stakeholders and partners on new renewable projects across CEE and the Adriatic countries to develop assets and support energy transformation of the region.

Wind Energy

BHM Renewables has been engaged in wind energy development for several years, primarily through its Finnish subsidiary Winda. Building on this expertise, the company has now expanded its operations to the Czech market. The Prague-based team benefits from the support of technically skilled colleagues in Helsinki, with whom they collaborate through Winda. BHM Renewables aims to utilize the know-how gained from developing projects in Finland and the Baltic region, apply proven practices, and thereby contribute to advancing the Czech energy sector.

In its projects, BHM Renewables focuses on establishing long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with municipalities, landowners, and local businesses. Recognizing that every community has unique needs, the company takes an individualized approach to each project.
